Dates: August 6–7, 2026
Location: Eastern AHEC, Greenville, NC

Registration is now open for the 2026 Rural Health Symposium, a multidisciplinary, in-person conference focused on improving health outcomes in rural communities across North Carolina.

Rural areas face persistent challenges in healthcare access, workforce capacity, and resource availability. This two-day symposium will bring together healthcare providers, educators, administrators, and community leaders to explore innovative, collaborative approaches to delivering care in resource-limited settings. Participants will engage in discussions centered on strategies to address rural healthcare access and delivery challenges; community-driven, business, and leadership models that support rural health systems; and collaborative partnerships to improve care for underserved populations.

Designed for a broad audience of healthcare professionals, the symposium offers an opportunity to share best practices, strengthen regional partnerships, and advance solutions that are rooted in the unique needs and strengths of rural communities.
